Sienicki Jacek

He was born in 1928, died in 2000. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warszawa under the direction of A. Nacht-Samborski. He was a professor at his alma mater. He debuted at the exhibition "Against War, Against Fascism" at the Warsawa's Arsenał in 1955. Using modest means of painting and ordinary, everyday topics, he created pictures of great inner power and immense richness of painting matter. The artist's works can be found, among others, in the collections of the National Museum in Warszawa.
