He was born in 1938, died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and Katowice. He received his diploma in 1962. Together with Urszula Broll, Antoni Halor, Zygmunt Stuchlik and Henryk Wańek, he was a member of the ARKAT group. He took part in many group exhibitions and is also the author of numerous solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He was involved in painting, graphic design, spatial arrangement, paratheatrical activities; he was an essayist and critic.
