He was born in 1921 in Smarglin, died in 2008 in Łódź. Polish colorist and postimpressionist . He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under Professor Wacław Taranczewski and Zbigniew Pronaszko, and in Łódź under Adam Rychtarski. He dealt with easel painting, as well as wall painting in sacred spaces. He also found lithography and drawing close to his heart. The most significant subject of Wasiołka's is landscape. His works can be found in many museums and private collections.
