He was born in 1955. In 1980 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warszawa with a diploma in painting in S. Gierowski's studio. In 1983 he joined the artistic group "Gruppa". He published articles in the magazine "Oj, już dobrze"(Oh, it's ok") that was founded by the group. His works were exhibited at most of the exhibitions organized by "Gruppa". He is the author of theoretical texts and publications devoted to art, including "Simplification of Art" and "Course of Abstraction". In the 1990s, together with J. Modzelewski, he ran a private School of Art in Warszawa. The artist's works can be found in the collections of the National Museums in Kraków and Warszawa.
