He was born in 1953 in Warsaw. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He received his diploma in Prof. Jacek Sienicki's studio in 1977. In 1977-89 he was an assistant and assistant professor at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warszawa. He gained an award for the best painting of the year in the "Art & Business" monthly competition in 2001. He paints mainly oil paintings, main characters of which are usually miniature figures with simplified silhouettes.
